“Tie the knot of trust” using the connecting “string” of music

A survey on the need to enjoy a fundraising music night with the theme Trust Issue from 370 young people in Ho Chi Minh City said: Up to 71.9% of students think that the biggest influence of Trust Issue is losing surrounding relationships. 97.8% of students think that the Trust Issue matter needs to be resolved. And 68.7% of students agreed to participate in a music night that creates opportunities for participants to understand and trust each other more.

That's why the young students of the Faculty of Journalism and Communications have decided to organize: fundraising and auctioning music show “Tuyen”. The program is carried out under the sponsorship of the Faculty of Journalism and Communications, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM.

The fundraising and auctioning music show “Tuyen” will take place at 5 pm on May 17, at the Ho Chi Minh City Student Culture House (643 Dien Bien Phu Street, Ward 1, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City).

Inspired by the Ayatori string figure game, the show’s name, “Tuyen”, hopes to connect people who are having trust issues and to be the bridge connecting kind hearts with the disadvantaged.

With the mission of being where “music shines, hearts join as one and trust is lit”, the show is organized for the audience to have a recreational space, where they can exchange and immerse themselves in music. Singers followed by a large number of young people like Phung Khanh Linh, Tung Maru, Saabirose, M Tu, MaiQuinn, KOLD, etc. promise to dedicate special performances.

In addition to art performances at the music night, audiences can also participate in a charity auction with attractive and meaningful items, because the music night not only wants to connect souls but also connect generous hearts with difficult circumstances. “Tuyen” is one of the auction music nights organized by enthusiastic young students. That's why charity auctions are the highlight of the music night.

Positive humane purpose

The event if the journey to tie “the red knot” of love. Here, the performances and auction will bring the audience multiple layers of emotions through three parts: Tying the knot, Clasping the hands and Shaping up.

With Tying the knot, the viewers begin their journey of fostering love in relationships through sympathetic melodies. Thereby, Clasping the hands will be the moment the audience draw positive things to themselves and their relationships, because “Tuyen” believes that sending messages to space can help you put aside your trust-related worries. But that’s not enough, since it is specific actions, sharing, creating bonds in mental strength that lays a firm foundation to espace trust issues and cultivate love. That is the purpose of the Shaping up part.

Lam Vu Tam An - Head of Organizing Committee of the fundraising and auctioning music show “Tuyen” said: “All 100% of the profits earned from the music night, the group will donate to the children at SOS Children's Village (Go Vap District). This is a non-profit organization that provides a stable and loving environment for orphaned, abandoned or underprivileged children. With the message that belief must be combined with action to create human values, each successful auction item at this music night is another ray of hope for the children here.”

Each ticket or auctioned item is a meaningful motivation for the little ones at SOS Children’s Village (Go Vap District)

With the enthusiasm and serious spirit of the young students of the Faculty of Journalism and Communications, the fundraising and auctioning music show “Tuyen” does not stop at helping the audience find sympathy and mental support to overcome trust issues through unique art performances but also promises to complete the mission of continuing the fire of love and bringing happiness to preschools with difficult circumstances in the SOS Children’s Village (Go Vap).

The fundraising and auctioning music show “Tuyen” auction will be an extremely important milestone for the student group of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular and is also a special highlight in a series of other volunteer events in Ho Chi Minh City.
