June 1, 2023 to June 30, 2023 is the month for the LGBTQIA+ community (Pride Month). During this time, fashion-related events, activities, and houses simultaneously launch collections, or items, to show support for the line of events.
Pride Month takes place in June every year, the month when LGBTIA+ people show their pride in the community, and speak out about relevant political issues. During this month, events such as Pride Walk, picnic, music festival, .... are held and clothing, accessories, and media campaigns are released. Pride Month is not only for LGBTIA+ in particular, this is a month for everyone to show their sympathy for this community.
NFL and Pride collection with Humberto Leon
The NFL teamed up with Opening Ceremony co-founder Humberto Leon to launch a special collection. The collection is a combination and intersection of culture, sport, fashion and art. The American Football League has released a variety of products including t-shirts, jackets, new era hats, scarves and more....Leon will also be involved in the design of the NFL bus in the tournament Pride parade in New York.
BOSS
BOSS collaborates with artist Keith Haring to launch the Legend of BOSS collection including T-shirts, shorts, hoodies, socks, hats, mesh skirts, shirts, bucket hats,... The main products will usually be with a rainbow border inside or a small rainbow BOSS brand logo or mini Haring stickers or embellished with Polaroids. This month, HUGO BOSS will also donate to ILGA World (a global federation advocating for equal rights for people with different sexual orientations, identities and gender expressions).
Versace
Versace launches Versace Blush Pink Greca Goddess mini bag. Accordingly, the revenue of this bag line will be donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) (Fund to support new ways to prevent HIV, educational projects, important activities and support services for people with the disease HIV) throughout this June to celebrate Pride Month.
Donatella Versace shared that: “Pride month is a really important milestone. We should all be proud of the amazing LGBTQIA+ community and continue to support them".
Champion
Champion has created a capsule collection with support for the LGBTQIA+ community to donate to the community. The collection includes selected T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, baseball caps and tank tops with the message: "It takes a little more to be Authentic".
COS
COS will raise funds for LGBTQIA+ associations such as the Kaleidoscope Trust, Not a Phase, Observatori Contra l'Homofòbia and Margate Pride. In addition, the company releases a limited edition t-shirt collection in partnership with four globally iconic clubs: Horse Meat Disco, House of Yes, Sink The Pink and Churros con Chocolate.
