Global Student Fashion Week (GSFW) is the first fashion week in the world designated specifically for fashion institutes, taking students as the center. With the mission of constructing a new era for the global fashion industry, the first season of Global Student Fashion Week in 2025 will take place in 7 days, gathering 150 designers from 30 fashion schools worldwide. In addition, the event will have the performance of 450 beauty kings and queens, 900 dancers, and the participation of over 6000 guests.
Bringing students' designs closer to global fashion lovers - that is one of the missions of a Global Ambassador of Global Student Fashion Week. Recently during the photo shoot to promote the event, Miss World Laos 2023 - Phonevilai Luanglath made a huge impression in the Hac Tien collection of young designer Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy - student of the Fashion Department - Hanoi Industrial Textile Garment University.
Young designer Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy shared, "The Hac Tien collection is inspired by the image of cranes in art and culture. Birds have a profound influence in Eastern culture, symbolizing nobility, quintessence, deity, and immortality. That's why the image of the crane is found a lot in life, literature, poetry, painting and is always an inspiration for fashion. It is from that wonderful image that I launched the Hac Tien Collection. The collection not only highlights the elegant and graceful beauty but also shows the maturity, power, and haughtiness of a woman."
Far from just a fashion week, Global Student Fashion Week is also a bridge to carry out the mission of working with training schools to find, nurture and develop young talents in the field of fashion. Thereby, contributing a huge part in the development of the Vietnamese fashion industry in particular and the world in general.
