In line with the belief “Be different to succeed”, VIJFW has become the first fashion week in the world to have a representative mascot. Besides, the mascot has also been crafted into artistic souvenirs using materials from the project “Vai Vun” - a recycling project that utilizes surplus fabrics from old clothes, contributes to protect the environment and encourages young participants to be part of the movement protecting the environment.

    

With its outstanding scale, Vietnam International Junior Fashion Week season 4 presents a vibrant and lively picture with the participation of 30 designers/brands coming from all around the world with more than 500 models, 4.000 guests and 100.000 participants in accompanying activities. The VIJFW 2024 announcement, attended by 600 guests, is a long-awaited event.

        

Additionally, Vietnam International Junior Fashion Week marks ‘the first time” that a fashion collection of disabled children all around the world has been presented on the fashion week runway. With the motto “Children draw dreams”. This special collection will be exhibited in the museums on the weekend.

     

Apart from these special features, it is impossible not to mention about the faces helping spread the meaningful message of the week, namely the models. More notably, the names picked by the designers for important positions have gradually been revealed. Tran Huong Moc Tra - a name that is highly praised has officially taken the vedette position at this show.
 

Tran Huong Moc Tra “The raw gem” with inborn talents

Tran Huong Moc Tra - a 6 years old girl, currently studying at Trau Quy agriculture primary school (Gia Lam - Ha Noi). At a young age, she has been fond of watching child models and adult models perform and often imitated and learned on her own. In her growing journey of pursuing dreams, she is fortunate to have her parents noticing her passion and abilities. As a result, her family enrolled her in activities designed for child models. “ The first time she stepped onto the stage, despite not having attended any classes or training sessions, she performed confidently in front of the camera and lots of audiences ”. Her mom shares.

             

Tran Huong Moc Tra and the journey of reaching her passion

In order to become a ‘shining crystal’ on the stage as she is now, this young girl continually improves herself by participating in training courses for professional modeling. This helps Moc Tra have more opportunities to indulge her passion and give it all on her chosen path. Not only stopping on the training courses, she also attends several casting shows for brands and designers, receiving high praises from the professional experts. 

 

Tran Huong Moc Tra: Life behind the limelight

Despite facing numerous difficulties, challenges in order to exchange for a life that aligns with her childhood dream. Therefore, by her professionalism, knowing how to arrange and balance her time alongside with the big support from her family, the little girl was able to achieve remarkable accomplishments in Mathematics and English contests, or even receive a silver prize in piano at the 10th Asian Arts Competition held in Singapore. In addition to her passion in modeling, Moc Tra also possesses talents such as dancing,..

Being aware of the importance of studying alongside dedicated, long-term pursuit of passion, Moc Tra diligently organizes her timetable, utilizing spare moments to finish her homework in order to spend more time in artistic activities. In the future, Moc Tra wants to continue taking part in training courses about modeling and acting to elevate her performance skills.
