The 2024 Vietnam International Junior Fashion Week will take place over the course of 4 days, from the 1st to the 4th of June. Among those days, the opening 02 days will serve as a fashion show from designers. After that, the “Hanoi City Tour” activity and the photoshoot of the collections at Vietnam’s significant attractions will take place on the third day. The VIJFW will end with a charitable activity at the Vietnam Friendship Village and a workshop for 1000 fashion enthusiasts at universities. In particular, the VIJFW 2024 stage at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long (expected) will be invested to be the grandest stage for a junior fashion week in Asia.

Following the success of the last 3 seasons, this year’s VIJFW 2024 is coming back at a grander scale to mark the significant milestone of being the first ever Fashion week in the world to have a representative mascot. The mascot will be meticulously crafted into souvenirs with a special material taken from a meaningful project called “Rag” - a project recycling redundant sewing materials, old clothes to help protect the environment. The souvenirs will not only be sent to guests and friends from all over the world as a sign of gratitude, but also sold to raise a charitable fund to help underprivileged children across Vietnam, promising to set a powerful trend to the fashion industry both domestically and internationally.

Besides the model kids with strong personalities, we have to mention the vedettes with “extraordinary” charisma that help the show spread meaningful messages to the mass public. Among them, a name that cannot go unmentioned is the young lady with the nickname Gabi Tam An, who has been selected by the designer Le Tran Dac Ngoc at the Announcement Ceremony of VIJFW.

Gabi Tam An’s real name is Nguyen Le Tam An. Born and raised in Hanoi, the little girl is studying at the international bilingual school Hanoi Academy. Soon exposing qualities in the art industry, she shared that she loved performing arts as well as had been singing and performing on catwalk runways since 2022. Recognizing Tam An’s hobby and passion, her family has provided her with opportunities to take talent classes as well as always accompanied her on her journey to conquer fashion runways. Moreover, the Hanoian child model also revealed that the people who always inspired and motivated her were her mother and brother. It can be said that she could always rely on her family as a booster for her dreams to shine. 

Owning a round face and big black eyes with confident catwalk steps and a mesmerizing style on fashion runways, Gabi Tam An has completely conquered the audience’s hearts although she has just become a child model for not long. Besides being a model, Tam An is also cherishing other intentions in many different fields.
