Nguyen Trang Nguyet Minh - representative of Vietnam - excellently overcame 30 other beauties from 25 countries and regions around the world to be named Miss Teen Grand International 2023 ultimately.
The Final of Miss Teen Grand International 2023 was held on June 18 in Cambodia including the participation of 25 countries around the world. This is the first time Vietnam has a representative to participate in the contest and takes the crown.
The title Miss Teen Grand International 2023 1st Runner Up went to No Farida of Cambodia, while the 2nd Runner Up belonged to Kashish Gosuami of India.
Nguyet Minh impressed the judges through four performances including national costume, swimsuit, evening gown and behavioral interview. Alongside with the final victory, the 15-year-old beauty earned the best national costume sub-contest award by performing the national costume “Peacock dance (Điệu múa chim công)” by designer Viet Hung.
Inspired by the dancing of peacocks under the moonlight, the design team and workers effected consistently for more than two months to create this astounding costume, which weighs 20 kilograms with 10,000 peacock feathers and 10,000 pieces of jewelry attached to.
In addition, the Miss Teen Grand International 2023 confidently showed her skillful catwalk and charming charisma via swimsuit and evening gown performance. Alongside “Peacock dance”, Nguyet Minh impressed the audience by wearing a ball gown costume designed by Brian Vo.
At the behavioral interview - the final round - the Vietnamese representative cleverly answered the question about the topic of world peace. As the representative of Vietnam, who represents the voice and influence of the young generation, Nguyet Minh deeply hoped that she could contribute to ending the war and violence as well as make the world a tranquil place. She also stated that protecting and improving the world started with every individual’s smallest actions.
Miss Teen Grand International 2023 is a beauty contest for 14-to-19 females. The pageant took place from June 13 to June 18, including the participation of 25 countries worldwide. Miss Teen Grand International 2023 fulfills a meaningful message in terms of enhancing world peace as well as fighting against war and conflict.
