When mentioning the outstanding teams in this year’s "My Team is the Leader" competition, BUV Fashion Club (BFC) is certainly a name that cannot be overlooked. Sponsored and advised by the British University Vietnam (BUV), BFC is not only the first fashion club at the university but also a symbol of creativity, dynamism, and a strong desire to reach further. Founded 7 years ago, this club has been at the forefront of connecting fashion art with Vietnamese cultural identity, while offering incredibly unique fashion experiences.
Journey of self-affirmation
From its early days, BFC has not only been a gathering place for those who appreciate beauty but also a platform where each BFC member can seek, explore, and develop themselves. With a vision that extends beyond the school’s borders, the club focuses not only on creativity in design but also on preserving and promoting the cultural values of Vietnam through each collection.
What makes BFC special is the perfect blend of traditional elements and contemporary fashion trends. The club's designs not only exude modern beauty but also embody the essence of Vietnamese culture, creating artistic pieces that are both distinctive and rich in symbolism.
Admirable achievements
Not only limited to meetups and sharing sessions, BUV continuously organizes impressive fashion shows. Fashion events like "OntWaken", "Cultural Diversity", or "52" at BUV, and “Nhi Thap Cuu” (29) at the Vietnam National History Museum have delivered stunning fashion performances full of creativity. Each collection tells a story of the fusion between tradition and modernity, between the past and the future, skillfully and uniquely crafted.
The collections from BUV have captivated the audience, allowing them not only to "admire" but also to feel the depth, artistry, and practicality embedded in each design. Vietnamese cultural values are seamlessly integrated and brought to life in every stitch, making each garment a powerful statement of national identity.
Glowing flame
With the achievements they have attained, BUV Fashion Club is not only a familiar name among BUV students but also a formidable contender in this year's "My Team Is The Leader" competition. The talented designers of BFC are always striving to innovate and create, and they are sure to deliver surprising performances at the competition.
