The VYA Reception Club, under the Central Youth Union Agency, is one of the standout clubs at the Vietnam Youth Academy. Despite being established for less than two years, the club has made significant impressions by participating in and serving major events both within and outside the academy. Not only has it affirmed its crucial role in event organization, but it has also become a place where students can learn, practice skills, and unlock their potential. With flexible and cohesive organization and numerous impressive achievements, the VYA Reception Club continues to be a symbol of dedication and enthusiasm in the youth movement. Currently, VYA is participating in the "My Team is the Leader" competition – the first competition in Vietnam for all clubs.
Formation and pride development journey
The VYA Reception Club was officially established on January 9, 2023, under the Central Youth Union Agency. Despite being a young club, the club has quickly established its position by participating in and serving many major events within and beyond the academy. Over its more than a year-long journey, the club has not only grown but also affirmed its crucial role in event organization. In 2023, the club proudly received a Certificate of Commendation from the Central Youth Union Agency at the Conference on Summarizing Youth Union Work and Youth Movements. This recognition is the clearest testament to the relentless efforts of the VYA Reception Club collective.
Flexible and professional organizational structure
One of the factors contributing to the success of the VYA Reception Club is its scientific and strict organizational model. Under the management of the Executive Board, tasks are clearly divided among three key departments: the Professional Department, the Communications Department, and the Logistics Department. In particular, the Professional Department is divided into two subcommittees: the Event Subcommittee and the External Relations Subcommittee, which take on important roles in the club’s activities. The smooth coordination between the departments not only enhances operational efficiency but also creates opportunities for each member to fully unleash their abilities while exploring their hidden potential.
Honing skills and constantly dedicating
Not only involved in event organization, the VYA Reception Club also provides an environment for students to develop skills and gain experience. Through well-structured training sessions and real-life events, members not only learn how to work professionally but also hone soft skills such as communication, time management, and teamwork. This helps each individual grow, become more confident, and be ready to face future challenges.
With the motto "The success of each event lies not only in what we achieve but also in the relationships and valuable lessons accumulated along the way", the club continues to dedicate itself to ensuring the success of both large and small events.
Achievements and future directions
Recently, the VYA Reception Club organized the 2023-2024 Term Activity Summary Program, marking a milestone in its development and the launch of the Executive Board along with the Gen 3 members. This was also an opportunity to express gratitude to the Gen 1 Executive Board, who laid the foundation for the club's growth. In the future, the VYA Reception Club aims to expand its scope of activities, continue contributing to major events, and become one of the leading clubs at the Vietnam Youth Academy. With the solid foundation already established, the club is sure to continue spreading its values and inspiring future generations of students.
The VYA Reception Club is not only a highly professional organization but also a home for young people who are passionate about dynamism and enthusiasm. With its achievements and unwavering dedication, the VYA Reception Club remains a source of pride for the Vietnam Youth Academy, contributing to the growing strength of the youth movement.
