Universities and colleges are not only places to acquire knowledge but also environments for students to develop holistically. Clubs, especially those like SVC from the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts at Vietnam National University, Hanoi, play a crucial role in fostering a creative and dynamic environment. To honor the contributions of these clubs and create opportunities for students to showcase their talents, the “My Team Is The Leader” contest was established. With a prize pool of up to 1 billion VND, the competition promises to be an exciting and intense playground where clubs can not only compete but also learn and grow together
Fierce competition for young talents
With the aim of creating a meaningful platform and an opportunity to honor clubs — which play an invaluable role and significantly contribute to the development of universities and colleges — the contest “My Team Is The Leader” has officially launched. This is the first competition in Vietnam dedicated exclusively to all clubs, offering a prize of up to 1 billion VND for the winning team. The competition will be a stage where clubs not only shine through their expertise but also affirm their pioneering role in promoting positive change, building a united and sustainably developed community.
Notably, the judging panel includes top experts in various fields, presidents of magazines, beauty pageants, fashion weeks, as well as renowned figures such as global beauty queens, kings, and prestigious partners like Dac Ngoc Designer House, the Vietnam Exhibition and Convention Association (VECA), ODIN Language Center, and more. “My Team Is The Leader” promises to be a showcase of leadership spirit and a dedication to the community and society!
Where the flame of love is lit and shared
Born from the passionate hearts of young people, SIS Volunteer Club (SVC) was founded on September 3, 2023, as the volunteer club under the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts. SVC has been tirelessly working to bring positive values to the community. With the message “Look Beyond - Open Arms” and the mission to spread love and positive humanitarian values through meaningful charity projects, SVC serves as a beacon, shining light on areas still facing many difficulties. The club not only creates a rewarding environment but also provides a space for young people with a shared goal of giving back to society to connect and grow together.
SVC believes that eyes are not only for seeing but for understanding and empathy, guiding us to places where life is still challenging. Hands are not only for labor but also for connecting through acts of love, helping to uplift the community. We believe that every small action can lead to great change. Through meaningful volunteer projects, SVC hopes to contribute to building a warm and compassionate society, spreading love to all corners.
Hearts for the community
Since its launch on September 3, 2023, the SIS Volunteer Club (SVC) has quickly initiated numerous impactful and far-reaching activities. In 2023, the club organized a variety of programs, including “Green Summer”, “Firefly Study Lamp”, “Sharing Love”, “Loving Moonlight”, “Warm Winter”, and supported the “Festival of Creative Design”. The success of SVC comes not only from the diversity of its activities but also from the enthusiasm and creativity of its members. The club’s efforts were recognized with outstanding achievements in Youth Union and student movement activities for the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year, earning a Certificate of Merit from the VNU Youth Union Executive Committee.
Talented captains
Behind each success of SVC is the unity and collaboration of the entire team. The leadership team, with their dedication and enthusiasm, has become companions, working together to build a solid shared home. Standout figures in the 2023-2024 term include the exceptional faces of leader Nguyen Kieu Trang — “beautiful and skilled”, along with vice leaders Hoang Anh Van and Ngo Viet Bac. Department heads such as Dinh Thi Thanh Phuong (Media), Pham Minh Phuong (Finance - Logistics), and vice heads including Nguyen Thi Van Anh, Nguyen Thi Minh Hoa, Do Phuc Hai Anh, Trinh Hong Phi, and Do Thi Mai Lan have together created a creative, cohesive, and effective environment. Each individual is an important piece, contributing to the overall strength of the club. This spirit of solidarity has enabled SVC to achieve impressive accomplishments in the past term.
With a spirit of perseverance and a desire to contribute, the SIS Volunteer Club (SVC) is gradually affirming its position in the journey of bringing positive values to the community. Participating in the “My Team Is The Leader” contest, SVC aims not only to conquer the prize but also to convey the message of the power of compassion, sharing, and unconditional love. Each project and every step taken by SVC is focused on building a united and compassionate society. With community support and the solidarity of its members, SVC is poised to be a strong contender in “My Team Is The Leader”, ready to break through and spread love to every corner of the country.
