“My Team Is The Leader” – Race of young leaders
Organized on a national scale, “My Team Is The Leader” is a unique platform specifically designed for student clubs in Vietnam. Not just a competition, it is an opportunity for student organizations to assert their strength, talent, and leadership in promoting positive values. With a total prize value of up to 1 billion VND, this year’s competition has attracted many promising teams. Particularly, in collaboration with the international event Global Student Fashion Week 2025, the competition promises to deliver impressive performances, further promoting creativity and innovation within the student community of Vietnam.
The mission of Young Leaders Club – “leader” symbol of the dynamic students of Academy of Finance
The Young Leaders Club (YLC), a student organization under the Youth Union of the Financial Academy, is the only club operating under the sponsorship of the Executive Board of the International Certification-Oriented Training Program at the academy. Officially established on July 31, 2018, YLC was founded with the mission of developing soft skills and English language proficiency for students in the international certification-oriented program, as well as for the entire student body of the academy. With the impressive slogan "YOU DON'T NEED A TITLE TO BE A LEADER", YLC shines brightly with its five distinct divisions: Events, External Affairs, Professional Skills, Media, and Arts & Sports. Each division has its own specialized tasks, and together, they create a strong and united YLC.
Impressive achievements from the YLC’s young leaders
Over their 6 years of activities, YLC has left profound impressions with a series of diverse and meaningful activities, including:
1. “The Harmony - Welcoming concert for freshmen of the international certificate oriented training program” – As one of the two annual welcoming programs of the Academy, The Harmony impresses with its exciting music themes. It is the place where beautiful and unforgettable memories of the passionate first year of youth are created.
2. English Champion – An English skills competition, with a city-wide scale in Hanoi, is an academic-focused contest featuring valuable topics on economics and finance. It has attracted a large number of students from both within and outside the Academy.
In addition, the club organizes and collaborates in organizing workshops for the two largest events at the Academy. The club has received significant attention from students, evidenced by hundreds of students registering for the competitions and workshops it organizes. The most recent workshop, "Freshmen - Who Will You Be in Four Years?", saw over 800 students sign up. YLC has always been one of the leading clubs in the Academy's youth and student union activities: being part of the organizing committee for the "Finance Academy Recruitment Day 2024", having its president elected to the executive board of the Academy's Youth Union, supporting the Academy's recruitment efforts, and receiving certificates of appreciation from the Academy's Youth Union.
