The Métiers d’art Chanel 2024/25 collection is inspired by the Coromandel screen that the brand’s founder Gabrielle Chanel loved, opening a dreamy journey from Paris to Hangzhou, where ancient beauty meets modernity.
Under the magical sunset at West Lake, the Métiers d’art Chanel 2024/25 collection opens a dreamy journey from Paris to Hangzhou. In the heart of the city rich in history and one of the most vibrant in technology, Chanel returns to traditional values.
The collection is inspired by the ancient Coromandel screen - a sophisticated lacquer work that the brand’s founder Gabrielle Chanel treasured. One of them was once solemnly placed on the wall of her office in her apartment at 31 rue Cambon, Paris.
The screen depicts scenes of ancient daily life against the backdrop of West Lake in Hangzhou, the same place where Chanel chose to present the Métiers d’art 2024/25 collection, celebrating the intersection between timeless beauty and the journey of discovering dreams.
