On their journey to Vang Dan Commune, Nam Po District, Dien Bien Province, the Phu Tho Student Volunteer Team from the National Economics University carried hearts full of passion and a determination to spread love and kindness to lives in this remote borderland.
Vang Dan – The lives amid harsh nature
The pristine beauty of Vang Dan is a harmonious blend of majestic nature and the toil of daily life, painted with contrasting hues of light and shadow. On the rugged, rocky paths leading to the village – where electric lights remain a distant luxury – the steep slopes and scattered stones deepen the understanding of the hardships faced by the local people. The long journey to the district center, challenging terrain, and lack of infrastructure have forced many children to set aside their dreams of going to school. Yet, amidst the bone-chilling cold of the Northwestern winter, the clear eyes and innocent smiles of the children warm the hearts of the young visitors.
“Warm Winter 2024” – Connecting love
With the mission of spreading warmth and sharing, the “Warm Winter 2024” campaign by the Phu Tho Student Volunteer Team is not just a charitable journey but a profoundly meaningful endeavor. With its mission, the “Warm Winter 2024” campaign aims to gather and share love, helping children return to school and bringing warmth to the people and children in Vang Dan Commune, Nam Po District, Dien Bien Province.
