A diver captured the footage filmed inside the shark's mouth after the creature swallowed her camera off the coast of Freeport in the Bahamas on Feb. 9.
Diver Andrea Ramos Nascimento had a jaw-dropping encounter with a shark.
She captured unique footage showing what it was like to be inside of the creature while feeding tiger sharks off the coast of Freeport in the Bahamas on Feb. 9.
In the viral video, the diver could be seen throwing small fish into the hungry mouths of a pair of tiger sharks. However, one of the creatures appeared to get a bit greedy as it began snapping at a diver holding a camera and even appeared to swallow a portion of the equipment.

The camera could be seen going dark as the shark managed to get it inside its jaws and then viewers got quite an interesting angle as the camera pointed out of the shark’s mouth. In the video, the shark’s teeth, as well as the row of divers feeding the sharks a few feet away could be seen as the shark swam around.
The shark then appeared to try to swallow the camera, showing a new angle inside of its body. Viewers were able to see inside of the shark's gills as well as get another good look at its sharp teeth.
The camera could then be seen being wrestled out of the shark's mouth before finally being pulled free. It appeared to take a couple of tries to get the camera out though, as the shark kept snapping its jaws together.

The video ended with the camera floating free in the ocean as the shark swims away from it, and a diver dashing to retrieve the equipment. The diver was able to grab it in time before the shark went back in for seconds.
Tiger sharks are “among the largest of the sharks,” with the largest recorded at 18 ft. long, according to the Florida Museum of Natural History (FMNH). However, due to their size, they are also known to be a “slow-moving shark.”
Tiger sharks, bull sharks, and white sharks are referred to as “The Big Three” when it comes to shark attacks, according to the FMNH. It is also the second most common shark — behind the white shark — involved in reported attacks on humans.
