As the Year of the Snake approaches, artist Dieu Ha presents an art exhibition to enthusiasts with the theme of Flowers, titled "Xuan Thi 5" (Youth 5). The exhibition is a harmonious combination of blossoms, Vietnamese landscapes, birds, and characters from fairy tales and the Garden of Eden. The works are deeply influenced by mythology, creating an enchanting and mysterious artistic space.
Artist Dieu Ha – living inspiration through each work of art
Female artist Dieu Ha stands out with her distinctive and impressive style, where each painting is not only a blend of color and light but also a journey of self-discovery and emotion. She expresses the philosophy of impermanence through the image of Sakura flowers, conveying the message that the greatest beauty in art lies in embracing loss and finding joy within it. Her paintings not only reflect nature but also embody energy and emotions that words cannot fully capture.
Beyond conveying beauty, Dieu Ha views art as a way to connect people with nature and their inner selves. She hopes viewers can feel love, harmony, and messages of resilience and compassion through each piece. She believes that life is like a painting, where every emotion is essential for completeness, and encourages everyone, especially women, to embrace change as an opportunity for rebirth and discovering true value.
“Xuan Thi 5” – New vitality of oil painting
The "Xuan Thi 5" exhibition will showcase 80 oil and acrylic paintings by artist Dieu Ha at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts, 97A Pho Duc Chinh, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
"Xuan Thi" (Youth) is a theme that the group of artists from Gallery Spring has continuously explored together, organizing exhibitions every two years, with this being the fifth edition. The natural landscapes, from buds to blooms, and the interconnected birds are depicted in the paintings like flowing water, embodying a serene and tranquil energy. The flowers appear to dance in heaven, weaving from one place to another in a rhythm of gentle and harmonious melodies. Each brushstroke resonates like a musical note, spreading an energy that touches the mind and soul.
The flowers seem to dance in heaven, weaving from place to place in a rhythm of rising and falling melodies, graceful in every note, every brushstroke, spreading an energy that resonates in the mind.
Natural beauty through Dieu Ha’s artistic lens
By highlighting the natural beauty of petals with a precise sense of balance in composition, color, and the interplay of light and shadow, artist Dieu Ha has painted highly realistic flowers. Each piece, each bloom, seems to hold a story of its own.
They are alluring coral peonies, vibrant purple-pink blooms, and a few flowers fading into a pearly hue as they begin to wither. Their radiant colors appear to dance, celebrating life in those final moments. They are also white apricot blossoms in a dreamy, ethereal setting, as if carrying the whispers of spring.
For the female artist, painting is a form of storytelling, a way to convey emotions and meaning through the language of imagery: “With each brushstroke, I aim to communicate something deeper, something that resonates in the hearts of viewers. A moment may pass fleetingly, but when I paint, I relive it.”
