Recently, the organizers of the Miss International Peace contest officially announced that Vietnam will be the host country of this contest in 2023.
It is expected that the finale night will take place on October 25, 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City - one of the two largest cities of this country.
Ms. Pham Kim Dung, National Director of Miss Grand International - Miss International Peace in Vietnam also confirmed that the contest will be held in Vietnam in 2023. “Hopefully this 'opening' will attract the attention of other international beauty contests and join hands to return to Vietnam,” shared Ms. Kim Dung.
Up to now, there have been 5 countries confirmed to participate in Miss Grand International 2023: Gibraltar, Honduras, Canada, Venezuela and Myanmar. It is expected that the above list will add more countries.
In 2022, the title of Miss Grand International belonged to Isabella Menin - a beauty from Brazil. Overcoming 68 competitors, Isabella Menin excellently demonstrated her talent, intelligence and beauty to win the highest position of the contest.
Previously, Vietnamese beauty Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien also won the Miss Grand International title in 2021. She was the first Vietnamese to be crowned in this arena and received a lot of love during her tenure.
On April 3, the press conference to announce the launch of Miss Grand Vietnam - Miss Peace Vietnam 2023 and Miss Grand International - Miss Grand International 2023 were held in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of Ms. Pham Kim Dung, Ms. Teresa - Vice President of Miss Grand International, incumbent Miss Grand International 2022 - Isabella Menin, incumbent Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 - Doan Thien An.
At the press conference, the awards were announced as follows: Miss received 300,000,000 VND in cash, 1st runner up: 200,000,000 VND in cash, 2nd runner up: 150,000,000 VND in cash, 3rd runner up. and 4th runner-up: 100,000,000 VND in cash.
