The first steps to her stage passion

Yen Trang’s love for fashion was shaped through very natural experiences in her everyday life. As a young child, she spent a lot of time watching models perform in fashion programs and soon showed interest in posing and moving in front of the camera.

The opportunity came when her Aunt Ut introduced her to a performance for child models. Her very first time standing on stage brought a special feeling: the lights, the music, and the rhythm of the catwalk created an excitement that made her want to explore this path more deeply. From that moment, Yen Trang began receiving more structured training with the support of her family. She learned how to maintain posture, control facial expressions, and coordinate movements to match each type of outfit.

Through persistent practice, Yen Trang gradually perfected her stage presence. With every training session and every attempt to improve, she understood that the runway always requires discipline, seriousness, and adaptability. These early foundations have been the key to helping Yen Trang maintain stability and confidence every time she steps onto the stage.

Maturity after each stage appearance

For Yen Trang, the title of All-round Kid Supermodel Champion 2025 is an important milestone that gives her more motivation to pursue her passion. This achievement not only expands her performance opportunities but also helps her better understand the expectations placed on a young model moving toward professionalism.

At the same time, regularly being entrusted with the vedette role at domestic fashion shows — especially her upcoming appearance as vedette in the collection by Dac Ngoc Designer House — allows Yen Trang to approach higher requirements in runway pace, expression, and the ability to convey the spirit of the collection. These past experiences have helped her realize the importance of focus, consistent training, and serious preparation for every performance.

Besides domestic runways, her showcases in Japan and Thailand have allowed Yen Trang to observe how a fashion show operates in an international environment: more controlled pacing, meticulous handling of outfits, and absolute concentration backstage. These experiences have become valuable assets that help her express a more mature presence, maintain steadier strides, and interpret the essence of collections more clearly.

At the age of 13, every opportunity on stage contributes to refining Yen Trang’s performance style and building experience, forming a solid foundation for her future appearances, including Taipei International Fashion Week 2026.

Preparations for the opportunity at TIFW 2026

Taipei International Fashion Week (TIFW) 2026 is one of the international-level children's fashion events, organized by Runway Productions Taiwan, a member of the Runway Productions system founded by Benjamin Toong in 2006. After nearly two decades appearing on runways in Paris, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Singapore, Runway Productions brings its international expertise back to Taiwan in January 2026, building a high-end fashion platform with global standards.

TIFW 2026 aims to create a professional, creative, and culturally rich performance environment. In addition to the main runways at Taipei New Horizon (Taipei), the event also integrates a brand showcase area, diverse experiential spaces, and a special collaboration with Ningxia Night Market, a signature culinary highlight of Taipei.

To prepare for the opportunity to perform here with Dac Ngoc Designer House, Yen Trang has dedicated much time to training: refining her runway pace, improving her expressions, and maintaining confidence during performances. Her goal is to appear polished, aligned with the spirit of the collection, and display professional conduct when working in an international setting.

Yen Trang’s artistic orientation and development aspirations

Yen Trang’s artistic direction is strongly shaped by teacher Trung Nguyen, a former male pageant winner with extensive experience in mentoring child models. He has helped her refine her catwalk technique, maintain stage presence, and express her individuality with clarity. To Yen Trang, he is both a source of inspiration and a companion in her journey toward building confidence.

After Taipei International Fashion Week 2026, Yen Trang hopes to appear on more runways, gain exposure to international working environments, and challenge herself in collections that demand high levels of creativity. Every time she steps on stage, she gains valuable experience that helps her recognize her strengths and refine her performance style.

At 13, Yen Trang demonstrates a level of dedication rarely seen in child models. From her earliest attempts to her significant milestones and the opportunity to accompany Vietnamese brands on international stages, her development reflects a growing passion for performance and a determination to rise and prove herself in the fashion industry.
