Amidst the vibrant atmosphere of the preliminary round of Miss Vietnam Student 2025, Tran Bao Anh, a student from Foreign Trade University left a lasting impression. This was her very first time stepping into a beauty pageant, bringing with her an impressive portfolio of academic excellence and community involvement, along with a spirit ready to explore a new version of herself. Surpassing hundreds of other potential contestants, Bao Anh officially secured a spot in the semi-final round, opening up a new and promising journey ahead.
The beauty of intellect and poise
Hailing from Bac Ninh, a land rich in cultural traditions, Bao Anh has long nurtured a passion for learning and a desire to conquer new milestones. Standing at 1.71 meters with balanced body measurements, she easily captivates spectators at first glance. Yet what impresses audiences even more is her outstanding academic record: Achieving an overall score of 8.0 in the IELTS test, First Prize in Bac Ninh province’s excellent English contest for 12th graders, a total score of 28.35 (out of 30) in the D01 block (including Mathematics, Literature, an English) in the 2024 National High School Examination, along with numerous awards in entrepreneurship, painting, and calligraphy.
For Bao Anh, every achievement is not just a personal mark of honor but also a stepping stone to further discover her potential. She believes that intelligence and resilience are twin values—ones that enable a beauty queen not only to shine in the moment but also to endure in the long run.
A debut stage for her beauty journey
The preliminary round of Miss Vietnam Student 2025 was the very first stage where Bao Anh showcased the harmony between skills, confidence, and charisma. The catwalk segment highlighted her steady stride and confident gaze, while her long-time passion for painting revealed a softer, more creative side, showing that she is not only knowledgeable but also an artist at heart.
This year’s offline casting took place with great professionalism and scale. The jury panel consisted of prominent figures within the Miss Vietnam Student system, led by Head of the Organizing Committee Mr. Nguyen Van Du and Head Judge —- Supermodel Ha Anh, alongside Deputy Head Judge — Colonel Nguyen Thi Mai Thao. Other members of the jury panel included Professor and Doctor of Anthropometry Mai Van Hung, CEO Dang Thi Xuan Huong, and Director Tuan Quang. Also present were Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 Bui Quynh Hoa, Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 Ngoc Chau, Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 Le Hoang Phuong, and reigning Miss Vietnam Student 2024 Duong Tra Giang. In such a distinguished setting, Bao Anh confidently presented her catwalk and painting performance, affirming her composure before top industry experts.
The rich portfolio of an experienced student
Bao Anh enters Miss Vietnam Student 2025 with an extensive list of accomplishments. She won the Special Prize at the ICIA International Startup Contest 2025, First Prize in Bac Ninh province’s calligraphy competitions for four consecutive years, Special Prize in a painting contest celebrating Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, and Third Prize in the national-level “Stamp Stories of Uncle Ho” competition. In 2017, she represented Bac Ninh at The National Congress of Uncle Ho's Obedient Children, received the Vu A Dinh Scholarship, and was awarded a Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Ethnic Youths nationwide.
Throughout 12 years of schooling, she consistently held leadership positions such as Class President, head of her class’ Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization chapter, and her class’ Youth Union Secretary, while maintaining excellent academic performance. Beyond academics, she also serves as Head of External Relations for the charity organization 9¾ Organization, an IELTS tutor, a Global Student Fashion Week Ambassador alongside nearly 1,000 international titleholders, and a translator/interpreter for the international magazine system Magazine World.
