Global Junior Fashion Week 2025: Convergence of culture and youth fashion

Global Junior Fashion Week (GJFW) is a special international fashion event where child models become shining stars, capturing attention from global audiences. Formerly known as the Vietnam International Junior Fashion Week, first held in 2018, GJFW has continuously evolved and elevated itself into a global children's fashion event, connecting young talents, designers, and brands from over 50 countries around the world.

The event is organized by Voyage Group, in collaboration with the Hanoi Museum, the Vietnam Martyr Families Support Association, and 5G Multimedia, under the patronage of the Office of International Cooperation Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), the Vietnam Record Association, and prestigious organizations such as CICON, MARVELS, FCA, Korea CEO Summit, among others. GJFW 2025 is expected to be one of the most influential events in the global children's fashion industry, with its scale and stature continuously expanding.

 

Taking place on June 28–29, 2025 at the Hanoi Museum, GJFW 2025 will gather hundreds of child models, renowned designers, 999 Global Ambassadors, 500 Global Student Model Ambassadors, and 50 international experts in the High-level Advisory Council. This year’s event carries the theme “The Celestial Symphony”, conveying a message of harmony between fashion, nature, and sustainable environments. In addition to impressive runway shows, GJFW also features traditional cultural activities such as making to he figurines, painting Dong Ho folk art, and decorating conical hats, helping children understand and explore Vietnamese cultural identity in an international context. 

 

Ruby Bao My’s shining journey

Nguyen Bao My was born in 2017 in Thai Nguyen – a land not unfamiliar on the artistic map of Northern Vietnam. However, to rise and become one of the standout child model faces, Bao My’s journey has been one of serious, persistent, and passionate effort. From a very young age, Bao My already showed a special love for the stage and the performing arts

 

She began studying at Little Angels Art Center – one of the most reputable institutions for children’s art training in Thai Nguyen. Here, Ruby Bao My continuously trained and proved herself through a series of events such as “Xuan Yeu Thuong”, “Tai Nang Nhi Thai Nguyen”, and “Mua Xuan Uoc Mo,” impressing audiences with her maturity, expressive performance, and professional stage presence. Beyond fashion, Bao My has also developed her skills through multidisciplinary classes, including the Idol course at Vietnam Star Academy – an environment that helped her grow in areas such as singing, performing, and public speaking.

Not limited to her captivating appearance or strong stage presence, what truly sets Bao My apart is her well-rounded artistic ability and independent creative thinking. She knows how to control her emotions, pose professionally in front of the camera, while still maintaining the innocence and purity characteristic of childhood. Thanks to structured training and a high level of discipline, Bao My quickly adapted to the demanding pace of major performance events, especially those with intense competition such as the Vietnam Fashion Tour and other high-profile shows across the country

 

As she continues to grow on her artistic journey, Ruby Bao My increasingly embodies the spirit of a young cultural ambassador: able to combine artistic expression with meaningful messaging, while also listening and staying true to her personal identity in every fashion collection she presents. It is this harmonious blend of artistic talent, personal qualities, and confident stage presence that has brought Ruby Bao My closer to meeting the criteria for selection as a Global Ambassador at GJFW 2025.

 

Overcoming all limitations to shine at GJFW 2025

In her role as ambassador, Bao My is not only a performer but also takes part in media activities, cultural exchange, and community connection. She is a living example of the well-rounded development of the young Vietnamese generation: confident, dynamic, creative, and driven by a desire to contribute to the community. Ruby Bao My represents a new generation of child models – not only beautiful in appearance but also possessing depth of awareness, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to inspire her peers in a powerful way.

 

From a little girl in Thai Nguyen with a pure passion for the arts to a global ambassador on the international fashion stage of GJFW 2025, Ruby Bao My is a vivid embodiment of the rise of Vietnam’s talented young generation in the new era.
