A music production inspired by a child’s play

The MV “Oan Tu Ti” is built on familiar imagery from the traditional Rock–Paper–Scissors game loved by generations of Vietnamese children. The team chose a modern approach, combining a vibrant color palette, dynamic movements, and youthful cinematic elements. According to the producer, the project aims to bring folk elements into today’s music scene in a way that is approachable, creative, and suited to young audiences’ tastes.

The arrangement blends contemporary folk tones with traditional percussion and EDM elements. The three teams—“Keo (Scissors) – Bua (Rock)– Bao (Paper)”—appear throughout like a cheerful gathering, creating a miniature festival atmosphere. The team notes that each scene is crafted to reflect the playful spirit of collective games while enhancing interactivity, making the product easily shareable on digital platforms.

In the MV, Kim Cuong plays the leading role, with a look that mixes traditional and modern elements. Her bright demeanor and energetic presence are highlighted as key features that give the production a distinctive character compared to other children’s projects on the market.

A message on childhood memories in the digital era

According to musician Tuan Cry, the project aims to bring traditional games back into children’s lives through music and visuals. “Oan Tu Ti,” once commonly played in schoolyards, is now reinterpreted with a youthful perspective to inspire young audiences to engage with traditional culture naturally.

The MV is designed as a soft educational product, encouraging children to move, connect, and play with friends. The choreography, “Oan Tu Ti Dance,” created by the choreographer in a modern kids’ dance style, is easy to learn and suitable for various ages. The project is expected to expand into interactive activities such as dance challenges, performances at community playgrounds, and children’s art programs.
