Founded in 2014 by Trang Le, CEO of MultiMedia JSC, Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week (AVIFW) has become an indispensable symbol of Vietnamese fashion. With the goal of bringing Vietnamese fashion closer to international audiences and showcasing unique collections from talented designers both domestically and abroad, AVIFW has continuously innovated, captivating fashion enthusiasts over 17 seasons.
This year's 10-year milestone carries the themes #AdecadeOfFashion and #FashionEvolution, reflecting the dynamic transformation of the Vietnamese fashion industry. More than just a prestigious platform, the event also serves as a cultural bridge between Vietnam and the world, positioning Vietnam as a major fashion hub in Southeast Asia.
Rosy Fall the inspiration from Hanoi autumn
On the third night of AVIFW Fall-Winter 2024, the brand Happy Clothing by Thao Nguyen presented the dreamy collection “Rosy Fall”. Inspired by the golden hue of sunlight, the deep red of velvet rose petals, and the crisp air of Hanoi's autumn, each design is a canvas telling a story of beautiful memories.
On the runway, the designs, both gentle and sophisticated, evoked the elegant beauty of Vietnamese autumn. The collection became the focal point, especially when Miss H'Hen Nie took the stage as the vedette, delivering a stunning and emotionally charged performance.
H’Hen Nie: The queen transforming on the runway
The audience was completely captivated when H'Hen Nie stepped out in Thao Nguyen's uniquely designed deep pink lotus dress. Initially, the outfit was a short, youthful dress with a bell-shaped pleated skirt and a powerful stand-up collar, giving her a commanding presence like a queen on the runway. Paired with an elegant shoulder cape, the dress highlighted the beauty queen's luxurious aura and confident demeanor.
The surprise moment happened mid-runway when the dress suddenly "transformed". The skirt was removed, revealing a magnificent floor-length princess gown with layers of fabric draped in delicate floral patterns. H'Hen Nie, resembling a radiant peony in the spotlight, strutted gracefully down the stage, creating a stunning visual effect and ending the performance to endless applause and admiration from the audience.
