Situated on the intersection of the Northeast and Northwest regions, Yen Bai is known as “the gate into the Northwest”. This place has made numerous tourists fall in love with the magnificent rivers and mountains as well as the diverse colors of its polyethnic culture. To give the new year a promising kick-off, on January 6th, the “Tet 2024” program with the theme “Dragon Tet Taste”, led by Ms. Nguyen Quynh, the Director of RAM Entertainment, took place with great success at Yen Bai Provincial Museum. The show also came with the appearance of many talented stylists and child models.

In order to heat up the atmosphere, the stage in Yen Bai took off with the song “Chuc Tet moi nha” with an emotional performance by the three first faces namely Hoang Nguyen San Nhi, Do Bao Han, and Dang Tran Nhat An. Not just stopping there, this performance became even more special with the support of a dance crew from RAM Entertainment under the guidance of the choreographers Hoang Ngoc and Cam Van.

To end the opening performance, the show’s stage once again exploded with the appearance of the image representative - Vedette Nguyen Gia Bao, the champion of Vietnam Children’s Ao Dai Ambassador, who showcased the costumes designed by Mr. Le Tran Dac Ngoc.

The “Nien” collection came to life under the adroit hands of Dac Ngoc Designer House. It struck a strong impression with the patterns imbued with Vietnam’s traditional Tet holiday’s values, reflecting the bustle of the Tet holiday, the fulfillness of the spring, bearing a colorful, graceful yet sophisticated appearance.

The presentation of the “Nien” collection included five familiar faces at various professional fashion runways, namely the image representative Nguyen Gia Bao, the three first faces Hoang Nguyen San Nhi, Do Bao Han and Dang Tran Nhat An, along with the participation of the special guest Vu Tue Lam. With their profound experience in conquering the audience on multiple stages, the five child models once again left the spectators with various emotions.

Inspired by the Thai ethnic group’s Xoe dance, along with the desire to promote our home country through the lens of fashion, the young designer Nguyen Tuan Anh decided to bring this spectacular ethnic culture image from the Northwest region to the mass public with his collection “Mua dieu xoe hoa”. Performing this passionate work of art was the child model Pham Kim Hue, an excellent face sought after by many designers.

In order to welcome the new Year of the Dragon, designer Tran Thanh Man debuted his collection “Ca chep hoa rong”. Designed from 3D shapes with the new technology in printing fashion materials with contrasting colors and glossy leather, the collection was not only modern and full of personalities but also highly functional, promising to leave the mass public with unforgettable impressions. Do Bao Han, the champion of Vietnam Young Talent 2023, was called up to become the first face of this collection.

Being a part of a project about designing costumes inspired by the Four Holy Beasts (the four major Benevolent Animals in the cultural beliefs of East Asian countries symbolizing fullness and good luck), which are the Dragon, the Qilin, the Turtle, and the Phoenix, the “Long” Ao dai collection showed up at the “Dragon Tet Taste” with the performance of the first face Dang Tran Nhat An.

The “Rong Dong Nam A” collection by designer Nhat Thuc focused on exploiting the image of the Asian dragon, combined with the patterns of the three mountains, clouds, and water waves to incorporate into luxurious party designs.

At the end of the show, Ms. Nguyen Quynh shared: “I always look forward to presenting the most novel and refined characteristics of Vietnam to the land of Yen Bai for the child models to have the opportunity to put on the most extraordinary collections from illustrious designers, as well as for the special guests in Yen Bai to admire them.”
